DESCRIPTION:The City of Rocks State Park and Rockhound State Park in conjunction with the Astronomy Friends of the Parks have announced their 2022 Fall/Winter and 2023 Spring astronomy program schedule. Weather permitting\, about 20 minutes after sunset\, a laser guided tour is given on the highlights of that evening sky. The next event is scheduled for September 16th at Rockhound State Park at 7:15 P.M. and on September 17th at City of Rocks State Park at 7:15 P.M. Call City of Rocks State Park at 575-536-2800 and Rockhound State Park at 575-546-6182. This is a free event but Park pass fees do apply.
