Children participating in the Summer Reading Program at the Silver City Public Library are reminded to present their completed reading logs before 5 pm on July 22nd to be entered into the grand prize drawings.  Call 538-3672

The Silver City Museum invites kids of all ages to come by and make a Play-doh pot or plate on July 23rd from 10:30 to noon.  Etch a design with toothpicks using Mimbres designs as inspiration.  Call 538-5921

On September 3rd, children will have the opportunity to make a Styrofoam printing from 10:30 to noon at the Silver City Museum during the Southwest Print Fiesta.  Children are invited to join the fun to make a print to take home, frame, and hand in their rooms.  Call 538-5921

The Silver City Public Library will have a Pokemon program for ages 10 and up on September 8th from 4 to 6 pm.  Participants can make their own PokeBall to put pocket monsters in and find the Pokemon Go stops close by the library.  There will also be a drawing for packs of Pokemon cards.  [...]
