On Friday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. the Gila National Forest is hosting a birthday celebration in honor of Smokey Bear's 75th Birthday. This will be at Bataan Memorial Park, near Fort Bayard. Come take a selfie with Smokey Bear, play games, collect some Smokey swag and see the 25-foot Smokey Bear Balloon.
