Kids Event

There will be a spring kite flying day and picnic northeast of Glenwood at the Whitewater Mesa Labyrinths of Route 159 on April 2nd from noon until dusk.  Admission is free and there will be a kite raffle at 2:30 pm.  Call 313-1002.  Sponsored by the Gila National Forest

Plant a Mini-Garden and make a paper vase at the Silver City Museum on April 23rd from 10:30 to noon.  Kids of all ages can come plant a min-garden to take home and make a picture of a paper vase to display to celebrate spring.  Call 538-5921
