Join the Silver City Public Library for a special WildWorks on Thursday, December 29th at 4 pm. Youth ages 10 and up are invited to make noise makers for New Year’s. Regular WildWorks activities will also be available. Call 538-3672

The Silver Consolidated School District will be closed for the Easter Holiday on Friday, April 14th. No classes will be held. The administration offices will also be closed. Regular schedules will resume on Monday, April 17th, 2017
The Annual Kiwanis Free Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 15th beginning at 8 am at Penny Park. The Kiwanis Club of Silver City will be hiding over 3000 plastic eggs filled with candy or special prize slips. To volunteer, or for more information, contact Lori Bonomo, at 574-2543
The Silver City Museum will hold a Hands-On Victorian Easter Egg Diorama Activity on Saturday, April 15th from 10:30 to noon. Come make a miniature Easter diorama using plastic Easter Eggs, ribbons, flowers, and pictures. Call 538-9521
