The Upper Mimbres Volunteer Fire Department will have a Pancake Breakfast and bake sale on April 11th from 8 to 11 am at the station, 3072 Highway 35 mile marker 4.5. The cost is $5 per person and includes pancakes, sausage, eggs and a drink
The Bridge Community will hold their Early Sunday Supper Fundraiser on April 19th at 4 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Silver City. The WNMU Jazz Band will provide entertainment. The cost is $10, and proceeds benefit the Bridge Community Project to bring a continuum of care facility to Silver City

The Annual Fourth of July Parade and Celebration at Gough Park will be held Saturday, July 4th. The theme this year is Rally Around the Flag, and the Parade will begin at 10 am and follow a new route on Hudson Street to 14th Street. A Fireworks show will follow when it gets dark
