The Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue will hold their 6th Anniversary Tex-Mex Fundraiser on September 6th from noon to 6 at the Ranch, 27 Twin Sisters Creek Road. The barbecue will feature entertainment by the Illusion Band. Funds help offset costs of housing, feeding and medical care for rescued dogs. Call 313-7232

On October 24th at 7 pm, “Mark Twain,” portrayed by Jefferson H. Jordan Jr, will present a one man show at the Silver City Masonic Lodge #8.
