Kick off the weekend on Friday with the Junior Livestock Show\, Hidalgo County Fair Parade\, Quirt Peterson Tribute Ranch Rodeo and dance to the music of Desert Reign. Fun for the whole family on Saturday with the Junior Livestock Sale\, Mud Bog Racing starting at 1:00 P.M.\, Magician Chris Mitchell\, Stick Horse Rodeo\, the Casper Baca Professional Rodeo\, and later\, dance with the Yarborough Band. On Sunday there’s Cowboy Church and more rodeo action! Vendors and exhibits are open all weekend! Admission is $5.00. DESCRIPTION:The Grant County Community Concert Association is kicking off their 65th Season with the nationally recognized “Billy Townes Jazz Quartet” on Friday August 26th at the WNMU Fine Arts Theater starting at 7:00 P.M. Hailing from El Paso\, Billy Townes and his band are very popular performing traditional jazz with contemporary sounds and rhythms. Adult tickets for this concert are only $10\, children to age 17 get in for free.  Tickets can be purchased in person at the Pink Store\, online\, or at the concert.
