SUMMARY:Pick It Up-Toss No Mas Community Trash Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:The anti-litter program Pick It Up – Toss No Mas will hold its next community trash cleanup on Saturday\, August 20 from 8 am until noon at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center in Silver City. Please note that this month’s cleanup will start at 8 am rather than the usual time of 9 am\, and we will meet at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center rather than Gough Park. Complimentary coffee and breakfast burritos will be provided as well as prizes. Meet the Pick It Up – Toss No Mas team in the Murray Ryan Visitor Center parking lot at 8 am on Saturday\, August 20 and pick up trash bags\, gloves\, trash pickers and snacks and enjoy burritos and coffee with other volunteers.

SUMMARY:WNMU Back Together Bash 2022
DESCRIPTION:(Due to weather\, the concerts have been moved inside the Fine Arts Center. Capacity is limited to 1000.)The Western New Mexico University Back Together Bash will kick off the fall 2022 semester with outdoor concerts featuring a lineup of Country and Tejano/Latin artists on August 19th and 20th at WNMU’s Regent Square. Gates open at 6:30\, concerts at 7:30 P.M. Food trucks and the Stadium Bar will be serving food and beverages both nights. Seating is limited\, bring lawn chairs.  Ticket information is available online online at wnmu.edu/culture.
