DESCRIPTION:The Grant County Public Shooting Range on Hwy 180 in Santa Clara is re-opening this Friday with the regular hours of Friday through Sunday\, gates opening at 8:30 A.M. with shooting times of 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. For everyone’s safety\, the COVID-19 Safe Practices will be in use. Everyone is required to wear a mask or face covering while on the range. SUMMARY:Gila Native Plant Society Virtual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Gila Native Plant Society will hold another virtual meeting via Zoom on Friday\, June 19\, 2020\, at 7:00 pm MDT. Dr. Edwin Leuck will follow up his May survey of the whole Cactaceae family with a closer-to-home look at the cacti to be found in our state. His presentation\, “The Cacti of New Mexico\,” will cover most of the native cacti present in New Mexico\, their distributions\, habitat specificities\, and salient (hopefully diagnostic) characteristics\, illustrated with photos.
