The Union Pacific Big Boy #4014 locomotive will be making a stop in Lordsburg at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday October 19th. Starting at 3:00 P.M., there will be a special ceremony with area officials, a reading of a proclamation, live music from Beth Cox and The Spirit of Hidalgo nonprofit organization will be receiving a Union Pacific Grant for the Gathering of Musicians & Poets events held in Hidalgo County.  Don’t miss this opportunity to see this once in a lifetime engine as it makes its way along the Great Race Across the Southwest.
