the Silver City Museum’s 33rd Annual Victorian Christmas open house on Thursday, December 14, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The event will feature live music performed by: Gleemaiden from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, Amos Torres from 6:00 to 6:30 PM, Silver Chorale from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, Gila Highlanders from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, and The Concert Band of the Southwest brass section from 7:30 to 8:00 PM. Children of all ages will be delighted by a special visit from Father Christmas, teamed up with Literacy Link-Leamos to share gifts and books, and are invited to participate in hands-on activities. This year, holiday goers will be able to create their own cornucopia Christmas ornament to take home. Delicious cookies and cider will be available for your enjoyment, while staff in period clothing would be happy to take a picture with you.
