Peter Herzberg, immediate past president of the Silver City Rotary Club, will speak to Rotary on September 24, about a trip he made to Guatemala to help work on Rotary projects there. Rotary International projects in Guatemala include building potable water systems, health clinics and schools. Members of the public are always invited to attend Rotary Club meetings that are of interest to them. The Silver City Rotary Club meets every Tuesday for lunch in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria in the WNMU Student Memorial Building at 1000 College Avenue. There is no charge to attend the meeting, but guests are asked to contribute $10 if they wish to join the Rotarians in eating a lunch with a hot entree, salad, and dessert. The lunch line opens at noon; the meeting begins at 12:15 p.m.; the presentation starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
