The Gila National Forest is announcing a Continental Divide Trail Maintenance and Rehab project using volunteers on Saturday, March 13th from 9:00 A.M. and wrapping up by 12:30 P.M. The project includes brushing and tread work of the CDT Trail. Volunteers are requested to bring safety glasses, long-sleeved shirt, pants, sturdy Footwear, work gloves, sunscreen, water, and lunch. In addition, volunteers need to meet at the Pinos Altos Fire Station at 4759 NM Highway 15 at 9:00 A.M. No sign up is necessary. The Forest Service will supply the hand tools and volunteers need to provide their own transportation.
