The Columbus Historical Society will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13th, at the American Legion on Broadway Street in Columbus (across from the Post Office). A potluck will be held at 5:00 P.M. followed by speaker Jim Eckles on the subject of Camp Cody, one of the nation’s WWI training camps near Deming. Eckles is a local historian and retired from White Sands Missile Range where he worked for 30 years.
