The “A Vessel By Any Other Name” Exhibit’s last day at the Silver City Museum will be on Sunday, September 8th.  According to a release from the museum, the exhibit “explores the many functions of the containers we use in our daily lives along with some surprising alternative uses for common objects.”

“A Vessel By Any Other Name” features an interactive area for children, and offers something for the entire family to explore.  There is a “general store” within the exhibit where children can “take a trip back in time” and “explore shopping in 1912 Silver City.”  Pictured above, recent guest to the museum, Carolyn Morrison, brings her granddaughter to the museum.  Whenever granddaughter Jazzy visits she wants to go to the museum, and Morrison says “we have been to the “store” twice and look forward to the next exhibit and interactive area.”
