Hidalgo Medical Services, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the Bayard Police Department, and New Mexico State Police are partnering together to hold a child safety seat clinic at the Red Hot Children’s Fiesta this Saturday,  September 21st.  The clinic is intended to provided parents and caregivers the opportunity to receive hands-on instruction from certified technicians on the correct use of child safety seats.

The clinic is free to everyone.  Technicians will spend about 30 minutes per child safety seat to educate caregivers on correct use and installation.  Parents are asked to bring the child safety seat and, if possible, the child.  Technicians will also determine if the seat is recalled, expired, or otherwise unsafe.  For information, call 534-1015.
