- The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair is in Deming Wednesday through Sunday at the fairgrounds in Deming! This year’s theme is “Remember When, Celebrating the Present by Honoring our Past.” Come out and support the Jr. Livestock shows, Fair Queen Contest, Ranch Rodeo, Fairground Showdown Superior Boxing, followed by team roping, a fun carnival and a Fair Dance.
