The Silver City Rotary Club, on October 29th, is presenting local potter Claude Smith III who will share his story about being a potter, and how, as he puts it:  “It is only by Grace that I have enjoyed these last 11 years of my life.” He will also discuss the techniques he uses in Saggar Firing and Raku Firing. The Silver City Rotary Club meets every Tuesday for lunch in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria in the WNMU Student Memorial Building at 1000 College Avenue.  There is no charge to attend the meeting and presentation, but guests are asked to contribute $10 if they wish to join the Rotarians in eating a lunch with a hot entree, salad, and dessert.  The lunch line opens at noon; the meeting begins at 12:15 p.m.; the presentation starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.
