The Hidalgo County Annual Christmas Kickoff and Community Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Saturday, December 1st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. complete with Miniature Train Rides, Horse Carriage Rides and much more at the Southside School Lot on 9th Street. The Community Christmas tree, located on Main Street will be lit up later that evening at 6:00p.m. with a visit from Santa Claus.
