The New Mexico Department of Transportation continues to work on clearing roadways that have been overtaken with heavy debris due to large volumes of rainfall recently.  The following routs are currently closed:

NM-152 near Kingston from mile marker 22 through 36.  The road is scheduled to re-open by the end of business tomorrow, August 9th.

NM-211 in the Gila-Bear Creek area from mile marker 3 to 4 remains closed.

NM-159 near Mogollon from mile marker 10 to 25 remains closed.

These roads will be reopened once the NMDOT has cleared the roadway and they are again considered safe for motorists.  Officials will continue to monitor roadways as rain continues and debris and road-washouts remain a potential threat.  Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas until conditions improve.
